DESCRIPTION
Gish is a one of a kind physics based 2d side scroller with a focus on an original control style, state of the art lighting and physics and totally unique game play. Using his gelatinous body Gish is able to adapt to his surroundings, becoming sticky to climb walls, slick to slide through tight cracks and heavy to break through walls, bad guys, and the like. By expanding his body at a rapid rate Gish is able to quickly project himself into the air and attach to almost anything in his path.

A Sunday stroll with his lady friend Brea goes awry when a shadowy figure emerges from an open man hole and pulls Brea into the ground below. Following her cries for help Gish suddenly finds himself in the subterranean sewers of Dross, a long forgotten city filled with twisting corridors, evil traps, and some of the most demented creatures imaginable.

    FRY345  Fresh platform game.

this classic platform game has turned dark and twisted into Gish! Fundamental rules of movement are changed and attacking is very unique.

    I recommend to all.

IAN LUECK  Kudos to the developers for trying something different in the usual sidescrolling platform game. The multiple distortions of the blob make for some nice variations. Gameplay needs a bit of work, mostly in the sluggish controls. Jumping alone takes many seconds to perform, which makes it a chore, and it's too easy to get stuck to... anything. Excellent presentation, though (especially in the blob's animations and the jazzy music).

PKA  Aren't you trying to run Gish1.3 alone? It is an update file for Gish1.2 demo.

Monitor depth must be set to millions to play this game.

I'm using OS10.3 and running this game fine. So, it is not a matter of OS compatibility.

ANONYMOUS  You HAVE to PLAY this game to get it.

You move a blob about that can stick to walls or slide down holes.

I don't know if I felt more like the Terminator robot, or like "Venom" from spiderman comics.

    JOHN E.  You control... goo

yes a piece of goo and it's AMAZING!

keys "A" "S" and "D" control if you are STICKY, SLICK, or HEAVY... .and combinations thereof.

Spacebar is sometimes called jump... but it's more accurately expand. It helps to tap it when you are HEAVY under water being STICKY to grab a slab and try to wiggle it out of place and throw it.

This game must be played to be appreciated the video demo will come close.

AET  What does the Console's CrashReporter say about it? Sounds like it could be a graphics/resolution issue they need to resolve.
