    DAVID PATRICK  It's so great to have this look back. I still think it's the more elegant, "logical" Mac look in comparison to Aqua with its heavy-handed bulky candy appearance. I have an old G3 powerbook with the REAL OS 9 still loaded in it, along with X (and bootable, yet!) and 9 is still faster. I know it's crazy, but on my newer G4 book this theme gives me the illusion of that speed. Again, I think it's that elegance, that neatness. I love the fact that all the color themes are included here. I get a real satisfying Classic look with teal and X's Abstract 7 desktop. For fun I use the Mac greeting boot also included - and the classic hand "spinner," with MightyMouse. So far, I've noticed any slowness or problems with this theme (or Ape for that matter), except it's incompatible with Cocktail, so I just disable that app from ShapeShifter. Good work, and THANKS!

    ROBINB  This is truly GREAT!!

    I never really worked with OS 9 but this interface is way nicer than the Aqua of OS X.

    Great stuff, great stuff!!

    WB  I started out on Mac’s operating system

    7.6 I liked the simple interface because

    it didn’t distract me from my work. With

    the introduction of OS X and its Aqua

    interface, it just seemed like I had

    abandoned an old friend. I started looking for ways to change the interface back to the old style. Finally, I came across Classic Platinum and saw it looked the way I wanted my computer to look again. I downloaded Classic Platinum and purchased ShapeShifter and installed them on my Mac G4. I have been using them for months now and couldn’t be happier. Thanks for giving me my

    old friend back.

    MUDFLAPPER  It's done well, really. But why anyone would want to go back from Aqua, especially Panther Aqua, is beyond me. It's like Windows XP users longing for the days of 95.

    GARY  Why? I know why I am looking at it. Consistancy. For those who still are using Classic a lot because they have to, its visually disruptive to have the whole desktop theme changing back and forth between Classic and Aqua.
