Phoenix Ball is a 3D breakout game designed with fast G4 and G5 machines with decent video cards in mind, although it does run quite well on fast G3s iBooks.
Keep your ball bouncing off your paddle through twenty five levels of eye popping graphics. Keep an eye out for the thirteen bonuses that fly off bricks.
ANONYMOUS Although the some users may report crashes they may be experiencing the countdown of 6 minutes. The first few times I played I thought it was crashing. Game play is slightly hesitent at times but overall the best game of this type. I wish the time limit wasn't a factor I wish we could see more levels before committing to buy. (Version 1.50)
UMAROMC physics not all there... ball looks like it's going through the edge but "pops" into face of paddle and 'properly' delflects. game crashes/spits out of memory (1.0 and 1.0.1) w/o crash log and w/o warning (cannot be reproduced under specific circumstances). overall novelty to brickout is great, stability issues need addressing.
