DOM21  Is there a drum program (this or another) where you can tap out rhythms with your fingers and it converts what you tap into a drum solo? Now that would be cool :)  (Version 1.5)

ENCRO  I love this drum app, its quick to get a useable beat and very flexible.

iDrum is now at Version 1.5 and is now under the izotope banner:

No Release notes seem to be listed so I assume its mainly a rebranding only. I hope izotope fix the unreferenced sample bug after saving and reloading the kit soon that is still in this version. There also really needs to be a way of quickly selecting random drums for the kit also.

    Previous Release History:

    Changes in 1.1.1:

Fixed #398 Endianness bug in Copy Protection library manifests itself on Intel-based macs.

    Changes in 1.1:

    Universal Binary support.

Fixed #190 Missing localization resources for languages other than English

    Changes in 1.0.9:

Fixed #168 Bounce to AIFF is now working correctly when 'bounce each channel to separate file' is selected.

    Changes in 1.0.8:

Fixed #151 Clicking slave to host in iDrum.app no longer causes 'Machine gun' effect.

Fixed #132 Song mode now loops correctly in GarageBand and Logic

    Changes in 1.0.7:

Changed: When in song mode and not slaving to host (or in standalone), iDrum will now continue playing from the last stop position. This makes it easier to edit songs.

Fixed: #116 Double-clicking on an iDrum file would not open iDrum.app properly.

Fixed: #111 Crashes in earlier versions of Logic (<= 6.4.1)

Fixed: #104 Drag and drop of audio files directly to channel fixed.

Fixed: #99 Fixed some installer oddities (Full installer wasn't overwriting demo install)

Fixed: #96 The 'iDrum - Default' GarageBand preset that shipped with the demo had missing samples.

Fixed: #95 & #90 The song mode bar indicator would jump to 720 on stop

Fixed: #93 Occasional crash when scrolling through samples.

Fixed: #87 When quitting, iDrum.app now prompts to save when the current file is modified.

Fixed: #86 Return key now dismisses Confirm Delete dialog.

Thanks to Iris Uffen (#111), Jane Snijders (#93) and Adam Berro (#90) for the bug reports.

    Changes in 1.0.6:

    - FIXED: Intermittent crashes in Pro Tools 6 & 7

    - FIXED: Panther and G3 incompatibilities introduced in 1.0.3 (Case 38)

    - FIXED: Intermittent crash when scrolling through kits.

    - FIXED: Crash when deleting iDrum while UI is open in Ableton Live 4/5  (Version 1.0.2)

BADMAMMERJAMMER  Thank god someone finally made a simple pattern based drum machine for the mac. I was getting so sick of the crappy ones that cost you like 150 bucks and are totally a pain to use. This thing rivels fruity loops in it's simplicity, while remaining amazingly powerfull and versatile. I love it, and I have been using it for almost every song i have made sinse i got it. The best part about it is that you can use your own samples, sounds and render as an aiff quickly. This simple little app is honestly the best standalone drum/ beat pattern maker for mac that I have found.  (Version 1.0)
