DESCRIPTION
ColorConverter... Working on a website that needs that perfect color? Finding the color is just half the battle. Figuring out that cryptic six-digit code (yeah, that hexadecimal thingy) is the second part of the battle. Or maybe you saw a website, and and now you need to convert that crazy hexa-ma-whatsit thing into a more common red-green-blue code. Color Converter has you covered. ColorConverter is a free Universal Binary app that launches quickly and gives you access to the MacOS X color picker (including favorite color swatches you've saved). It quickly gives you hexadecimal and RGB color codes for any color you choose using the color picker. You can also turn on the magnifying glass and get hex/RGB codes for any color your screen.

CORPSECORPS  If it WAS a color picker, i'd be interested, though i really have no problem with using a Hex value.

MERLIN  Nice, but I can have the hex colors in the apple color picker with a plug-in: http://www.luckysoftware.dk/hexcolorpicker.php

BREITBILD  Just a great thing. Earlier I had to start Photoshop to find out which HEX or RGB value a color has, and that took a long time. Now it's very easy!!

Highly recommended!

SPAM FRITTER  well, it works but it's a bit of a roundabout way of achieving what should have been built into the apple colour picker in the first place. [one of my favourite bugbears!]
