STARLESS72  Sorry, where can I find this funcionality inside QS? I can't find it anywhere, and I would like to avoid using a separate application if possible. Thanks.

    ***½.

VRIC  To those who were wondering : the tool didn't vanish, it was there all along. But it moved from a separate app to the Keyboards menu, along with the extremely useful Characters palette (you weren't relying on the painfully bad MS Word alternative, now were you?)

See the 3rd tab in the International prefpane to configure that menu: check the checkboxes in front of items you want.

Use this script if for some reason you don't want the menu present.

ECCO  The application didn't start. I had to change permissions of the file:

    chmod u+x /KeyViewer.app/Contents/MacOS/applet
