    STEVEN  I'm sorry, but this piece of software so deeply hacks the Mac OS X interface, I'm going to have to pass.

    You (the developer) will need to back up these hacks with solid (test proven) claims that it doesn't bork your system so badly that you get kernel panics or weird/odd behaviour.

    How does this affect getting tech support from companies who write software for Mac OS X? I bet if you mention that you've installed this hack, a 3rd party developer (or even Apple itself) would be very unwilling to help you get past whatever bug you think you've encountered with their software.

    The lengthy list of known bugs (http://www.ocs.cz/OCSmartHacks/KnownBugs.html) doesn't help me feel any better about this either.

    If you are going to charge $29, a 30 day money back guarantee would be good too, to make sure that this software works in conjunction with all the other software that a person has installed on their system.

    ANONYMOUS  a little pricey but for: resize windows by any edge and corner

    move a window by any point inside its frame (not just by its title)

    does anything else do this? these are really nice functions to have (though i rather resize a window from anywhere on the window, hitting edges is a pain on a trackpad)

    Well, let me know how should it work, and I'll implement it; at this moment though I don't see a reasonable way of doing that.

    As for aiming to the edge, you can make the clickable space wider in the settings: just change the default to, say, 32, or even more...

    MARC NOTHROP  Re dragging windows by means other than just the title bar; yes, try WindowDragon, an APE Haxie -- not related to it in any way, I've just seen it around! : )

    ONDřEJ ČADA  David, I am sorry it seems too pricey to you. You know, there is a *considerable* amount of work there: it is not that easy to support all the features.

    Just try: you can download the application (which can work as a simple RTF/RTFD text editor) and test all the featurs inside it freely, for no price at all. Or at least come to www.ocs.cz/OCSmartHacks and read the documentation there.

    Also, note that one registration key supports up to three installations: you need not to pay thrice for your home computer, office one, and your laptop!
