DESCRIPTION
In a time of modern war, recent military aggressions around the globe have many nations worried. Between the United States, China, and the Global Liberation Army, tensions run high. Their leaders profess no interest in escalating the situation, but words ring hollow when satellite photos tell a different story.

UNITED STATES: America's military leader must use the world's most advanced military to root out an elusive foe. Eradicating the cell-based GLA will take courage, conviction, and the will to see a prolonged campaign through to the end.

GLOBAL LIBERATION ARMY: Facing superior firepower, the GLA embraces bio-terrorism, sabotage, and suicide bombings to further its political agenda. But leading a chaotic group of 'freedom' fighters against two global superpowers will take some doing.

CHINA: No longer just a red-communist step-child, China's modern army is well financed, with a strong nationalistic bent. Parading technology like Dragon Tanks and nuclear missiles, China's military goes beyond simple troop numbers.

Features:

  • Wage real-time war in more ways than ever with a modern and near-future arsenal.
  • Command the powerful U.S. forces, the vast Chinese war machine, or the resourceful Global Liberation Army.
  • Battle it out in unprecedented detail on full 3D environments.
  • All-new units and tactics with maximum destructive capability, including Aurora Strike Bombers, Dragon Tanks, and much more.
  • Team up with eight friends or go head to-head in massive online multiplayer battles.

(APOCALYPSE)  The water on all my maps is black...what the hell? If it cant be fixed I dont care, but if anyone can tell me why It's like this...that would be cool. Durring the cutscenes, you can see the water fine, but durring the actual game, It's all black... (:

KLONE FINGER  eMac 800 Mhz running with 384 MB OSX 10.3.9

Version 1.01 Update (sped things up a little)

Version 1.02 Update (sucked horribly for speed)

Version 1.03 Update (MUCH MUCH FASTER)

And the option to play at 640x480 by customizing the resolution helps for lower end macs.

Thanks Aspyr for helping bring some real games back to the Mac!

ANONYMOUS  I have an Imac g5 and the other day the game froze up and the screen went blank and then a command box came up with the message"bug report" and instructions to send the information to Apple. I don't think the game is suited for Macs.

JOHNNY  some people were complaining of poor performace and whatnot with c&c generals.. what i did with my 1ghz emac radeon 7500 32 mb card was download the ati extension from ati's website, which now supports all oem cards and set it to the "preformace" preset. now, instead of slow - mo all the time like it was for me before, it goes at full speed even with detail set med-high. it turns off some of the more grapically intensive stuff like fsaa and other filters you can't turn off in the game, but you can enable the shadows and all that in C&C and it'll run like a champ and i can't tell a differnce really in graphics, just a 100% speed boost... hope this helps anyone with bad preformance.
