MUSI  This is a great app. I have a current model Olympus voice recorder (Olympus finally is making all their recorders Mac-mountable), but it saves the recordings as WMA.

EasyWMA makes it so simple to convert them—in Preferences, you choose what folder you want them to be saved to, set it and forget it. From then on, every time you plug in the Olympus recorder, EasyWMA immediately converts the files directly to the folder you specified without you having to intervene. It is truly a 1-step process. Can't get easier than that.

LLACHAR  A total rip off. The full version software downloaded from their link after payment will not convert the wma files to mp3 but to very short (4kb) m4p files. They take your money and you get shafted. LOVELY. Since they are FRANCH good luck getting back a flipping dime.

MUSI  Not in my experience. I've had this app for some time now and it works perfectly, and is very stable. You select your target output type, and it does it, period—no issues. Full length files, nothing truncated.

ROBOTANK  Did you try contacting the developer to resolve your issue? If not, you shouldn't post a one-star review. Bugs, incompatibilities, conflicts, etc. are common occurrences with software, so you should at least try to get help before you decide an app is worthless. Also, your racist remark is idiotic and totally uncalled for. Automatic frown.

ELEGRAPHY  Sounds like your WMA file is DRM protected, that's why you've got a m4p file, another DRM protected format. Even m4p files (mostly from iTunes store) needs a special app Requiem (only published through torrents) to decode the DRM protection, and Apple has try to kill it by frequent updates its iTunes and QuickTime. Therefore, I don't think EasyWMA could covert any DRM protected WMA files, unless you can find a decoder on Windows program.

Also, I am sure you know FRENCH is from FRANCE :)

JOSH RODGERS  This little program works exactly as advertised. I had several wma files that needed to be converted to mp3. There are several free alternatives, but most of the free programs require additional software. This piece of software, although it's not free, was an excellent solution!

The program has a drag and drop style interface, which makes converting quick and easy! Just choose your format, then, drag and drop! Conversion starts instantly and saves in the same folder as your original media!

Not only does this software work fast and efficient, but it's also affordable. License keys are sent via e-mail instantly after purchase, so you can start converting right away!

EM DASHING  The demo demonstrates that the program is wonderfully fast and easy, but then I was deflated when I saw what the catch was: the songs only converted to 15 second long mp3s. Just an fyi.

EASER  I don't think that's terrible for a demo mode. I can tell you that the program works.

MRB394EVER  I needed to change wma files to something usable by iTunes. This worked beautifully . . . converted about 200 tunes to mp3 in about 40 minutes. Batch processing makes it totally painless. Not lots of options, but plenty for me. Price is right, too . . .$10. One tip from another user was to try the demo program first to see if the wma files are protected. Good idea.

SWISSROLL  A no nonsense app that does what it says it does with no fuss. I use it to convert my Olympus Voice Recorder wma files to mp3s. It also converts other formats as I found out when some bizarre Open Source freaks insist on sending .ogg files. EasyWMA also converts those with aplomb.

ANDREAS7  Bought EasyWMA today. unfortunately it failed to transform my WMA files as they are DRM protected (as most legally downloaded songs are!).

Before you buy the software test your files with the preview version of the software!

JAHWARRIOR  Why would you pay for this when You can use either ffmpegX or download flip4mac, open it in Quicktime and then re export it?

Many reasons.

For a start ffmpegX is a majorly confusing piece of very complex software. It's massive overkill if you just want to do some audio conversion.

Additionally, very often ffmpegX produces bunged up files or ones incompatible with other software or hardware; partially because of it's plethora of not necessarily compatible options.

If you don't pay for flip4mac (now Microslough Windows Media Components), you can't export without restrictions.

EASER  I have not had any problems gettng this program to work. The developer has been very responsive to my e-mail inquiriies. I haven't found any other program that can batch process wma files this quickly, efficiently, and conveniently. I found it worth my money.
