SHRALLDAM  Today, I gave FastCut another chance. My opinion hasn't changed: it remains this crappy, unintuitive application with poor drag and drop support and unappealing UI. Who buys this thing?!

SHRALLDAM  I agree with earlier comments here. This software must be installed in one place only: the Trash!

Can't manage to import any of my clips, and the interface is unintuitive (no drag and drop, no contextual menus...). Charging $24 for this thing is insane.

Stick with iMovie, or if you have the budget, look for Final Cut Express HD. Yes, it costs much more than FastCut, but it actually works, and is way more powerful.

ST00P!D M0NK3Y  Does the developer even read these reviews? This demo is utter garbage and completely useless. I'm sorry but 10 minutes is not enough time to evaluate ANY kind of software. 10 days would make more sense (or longer).

You have to make the consumer feel good about their purchase. If you don't even give them the comfort of test driving an application...YOUR application...for more than 10 minutes...well, my friend...you have a LOT to learn about business.

ZC456  I only got as far as importing a movie into the library. You can't edit or test out they haft to offer. Plus the help tends to ask so much for so little on a demo that only lasts 10 minutes with only 10 lunches to spare.

It takes more then 10 minutes to edit a movie!

You might as well just buy it seeing as you can't do anything with the demo. Useless opon download. So.. I agree with everyone esle, iMovie is still a win compared to this.

IVAN3  By all means download this app.But a hint---best place to install it is in your trash can. That will save you an awful lot of time since that will be its final destination eventually.

KONSPIRACY210  Wow, lame. (well it looks it didn't even get much of a chance to use it) 10 launches 10 min. Then disabled features. Not worth the time or effort. I was hoping to bridge the time until Final Cut releases the Universal Version for the Duo Core. Diagnosis= Not fufilled so i will spend another 20 days using PC then fork over another 1400$ to apple. Monopoly? Yea.

IVAN3  I'm sure this app is great. It's a shame nobody will ever know since the demo does very little. 10 launches????---it will take that just to get the basics. If he wants opinion s on his work give us something we can use!!!

ANONYMOUS  This is barely usable. It locked and crashed several times, so I really wasn't able to get a good idea of how well it worked.

From what I was able to see, I think it's got potential, but it's certainly not usable right now. I don't see what need it's trying to fulfill, since iMovie is a great entrance-level video editor. QuickTime Pro is also fine for very simple editing, like just splicing a couple videos together. I suppose FastCut is supposed to be a step up from QTP.

As of right now, don't waste your time downloading it.

ANONYMOUS  I'm sorry, but I won't buy something where you can't do anything in the demo.
