BRU LE provides ultra-reliable backup on standalone OS X systems. It is licensed for commercial use and delivers industrial-strength data backup and restore services. A breadth of target devices, including hard disk are supported as well as tape technology. Native tape support of all tape formats is provided and support of autoloaders containing 1 drive and up to 10 slots. Bar code support is also provided. Remote system volumes can be AFP/NFS/SMB mounted and properly backed-up and restored.
Version 1.3.6 now fully supports SMTP authenticated mail operations in both manual and scheduled backups. This allows you to provide port information for environments when you need to contact your SMTP server on a port other than the default of port 25 - such as in environments where your ISP has blocked port 25 in an attempt to prevent SpamBOTS from sending mail directly.
