MONICA Excellent job. So much, much better than the incredibly buggy AppleGlot, and even the over-expensive and over-bloated PowerGlot. iLocalize has a very nice and practical interface. Display bugs in the first version were corrected immediately in the following release. The way it handles glossaries is the feature I like most. It simplifies the localization of Mac OS X software and makes the whole process a lot faster. It also makes it a lot simpler to update a localization. I was using AppleGlot before and there is really no contest. This has lots more features, integrates nibtool perfectly, is a lot faster and hasn't crashed once. Apple itself should be using this to check their own Mac OS X localizations which aren't always up to scratch in the tiny details... Totally recommended for Mac localizers. (Version 1.1.1) |
