DESCRIPTION
JBoost provides a tightly integrated suite of essential application infrastructure services that eliminates redundant programming tasks, including:
  • Web Security Management

  • Web Asset Management
Whether you're a systems integrator, product vendor, offer web development services or you support internal IT infrastructures, JBoost fulfills the non-functional requirements commonly associated with:

ANONYMOUS  If you don't understand the description then you are not the target market for JBoost - it is pretty straight forward. In my opinion, JBoost is for system integrators, not weekend web hobbiests.

CHRIS PAGE  JBoost provides an infrastructure framework for web applications, sites, and portals. The framework includes support services for:

    • Web Application and Artifact Security Management

    • Presentation (On-demand “WebSkin”) Management

    • Globalization (Internationalization/localization) Strategy

    • Administrative Management Console

With JBoost installed, software developers are able to leverage its reusable infrastructure services, thus allowing them to focus on developing business logic rather than on the time-consuming, mundane and redundant infrastructure programming tasks that accompany every web development project.

Using JBoost’s administrative management console, web and security administrators are able to quickly and securely administrate users, groups, roles, policies, and applications according to the enterprise’s established policies.

JBoost provides a flexible, open architecture that is easily extendable to handle the specific challenges of emerging service-oriented architectures. It also supports a wide variety of web-tier architectures including MVC II, Struts and other custom approaches.

    Hope this helps.

    LUXURYLUKE  WOW?!

If we could just have some communication between the marketing dept and the codewriting dept, insert 5 translators that can come up with a simple description of what this does exactly.... that might help me determine whether i could use this program. Is there a translator of markspeak that can work pro bono out there for ivis? i'll come back, when i see a different description.

STEVE COPLEY  Man, I can't comment on the software, but the language used in the above description and throughout their website (I went there looking for a clue as to what this software actually does) is complete gibberish! Marketing-speak gone nuts! Any clues...???
