RAF Beware! The "charges" column does not add correctly. I relied on Khronos output for this and client sent back stating that the total was incorrect. How embarrassing! I added it myself and they were right, it was incorrect. Luckily the client was understanding. This is a major flaw. I have not researched if start + end time is calculated correctly, but am not taking chances with this app any longer. Notified the developers' but no reply. There hasn't been an update for a very long time. Maybe they got too many free beers :-) Guess you really do get what you pay for. Too bad, I really like the simple interface. (Version 1.2.2)

PETER an absolute great app. I tried a bunch of commercial apps and was sorely disappointed. only one other was workable and simple enough to use, but unlike good ole' Khronos, it was payware! These other users are right though, the export fuctions are sorely buggy. Tab delimited file would be plenty, but it doesn't add the time properly for each session, and when sessions roll over night it is impossible to write a quick excel function to calculate the missing times. If the authors of this software read this PLEASE fix this, as i otherwise love the app and have recommended it to many friends. (Version 1.2.2)

KC CARTER This software matched all the features I was looking for. - Track several client simultaneously - Export records to tab-delimited text The download is a .dmg at 272k. The app is not processor and memory intensive. Install takes less then a minute. Takes less thn 2 minutes to introduce a user to the program. The interface can be hidden and the time-tracking function controlled from menu bar icons (this is a GREAT feature). Export functions allows for back of records and is in a tab-delimited format. The exported data can be imported in a spreadsheet or cleaned up for automated import to a database. Simmple, accurate, easy and accessible. The only additional feature I would suggest is a per-session text area, for job notes such as worked performed during session. I didn't rate stability becuase I have only been using it for 1h:44m:23s. (Version 1.2.2)

2R I've been using this for 40 days now and it's a good start. However it still has some serious issues that needs to be fixed, especially when it comes to printing and exporting. When printing the fontsize is way too big and there should be a way for the user to control this. The most serios fault though, is that the report is cut at the right side, so that the session description is only partly visible. Further, when exporting, it doesn't add up each sessions time spent. Also the export is very cluttered and not very client-friendly. It would be a great help if it was possible to export to excel so that the layout could be customized. I guess I'll check out Khronos later, but for now I'll look for something else or just stick to plain old Excel. (Version 1.2.2)

HENK Uhm, trhe readme says I should export my stuff before installing this new version. I have version 1.2 and use Panther, but when I click export it doesn't doe anything (not even a dialog window). On import seems to that.. What gives? (Version 1.2.2)

CREW OF THE UNDEAD There's a problem with exporting from 1.2. You can Back up Khronos though, and install, and everything might (and should) work out. To do this, move Khronos (1.2) from your Applications directory before installing 1.22. The new version will be placed into the Applications directory, run that one, and as long as your data is all there, you can go ahead and delete the version (1.2) that you moved. If this doesn't work, or the directions don't make sense, send us an email and we'll figure out it.

A NONY MOUSE Fine software, thanks for making it free! It's on its way, and it's lean. Exactly what I need. Caution: Installer places the app with wrong privileges, thus you start the app and enter your data. But when you restart the app, all data is gone. Before entering data, set the owner of "Khronos" to your applicate user and group, having "write" permission. Then everything should work as advertised. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. ANONYMOUS There's a bug with exporting and printing with version 1.2. It is has been fixed, and the new version (1.21) is available for download. The "Check for updates" menu selection will tell you if you need this update. Again, if you're upgrading from 1.0 or 1.1, you will need to export your data before installing. However, if you already have 1.2, the upgrading to 1.21 doesn't require any fancy shenanigans. Which is good, since you can't export from 1.2.... Cheers. Peter. (Version 1.2)

DJDARLEK As a newspaper designer i'm looking forward to see if my 'pagely wage' is better than an 'hourly wage' Great program btw, and thanks for making it free.. i've seen similar programs, but paying for a way to see how much you're being paid seems a bit alien to me. (Version 1.2)

CHARLES Yeah, it's technically free. But do us a favor, figure out what you would have had to spend on a commercial program to do the same stuff, divide that by 3, and send us a third. There! We just helped you reduce your software budget by 66%! We've only made $40 so far, so if you're feeling frisky it's not too hard to double our profits. That's enough begging for now. :) (Version 1.2)

AVFOLK Khronos is just about perfect -- with a degree of flexibility and polish that befit an app with a hefty pricetag. Supremely useful for anyone who bills for their time, or must simply account for it. Authors have planned for almost everything, and put it all in a superbly designed and attractive interface. Khronos puts many other similiar shareware attempts to shame -- Keep up the GREAT WORK!!! (Version 1.2)
