ANONYMOUS  i upgraded from 1.1 to 1.5 and now I get this weird french error, and I tried (after translating) all the things it recommended and it still doesn't work... I'm hoping I can find version 1.1 to go back to!

Le daemon n'a pu se lancer.

Dans le menu 'Daemon', essayez l'option 'R?initialiser le daemon' puis lancez le ? nouveau.

Si le probl?me persiste essayez de changer le daemon avec l'option du menu 'Daemon'.

ANONYMOUS  The new mlnet binarie only works with MacOS X.3 or higher.

If you have MacOS X.2 you can downgrade to mlnet 2.5.16v (http://wiki.macdk.com/DownloadsPageEN)

See xDonkey help to change daemon version.

Le nouveau binaire de mlnet ne fonctionne que sous MacOS X.3 ou plus.

Si vous êtes encore sous MacOS X.2 vous devez revenir à mlnet 2.5.16v (http://wiki.macdk.com/DownloadsPage)

Voir l'aide de xDonkey pour changer la version du daemon.

ANONYMOUS  Super program. After trying all the various Mac donkey clients out there, this is what ultimately allowed me to set everything up the way i wanted it, with protected remote access and evthing. Very cool, very simple.

PAULCLAUDE  Very good work, but the mlnet core is already at version 2.5.30-2, with many improvements and new p2p engines. When you will update it?

ANONYMOUS  There remain some bugs in version 2.5-30.

The management of the files sharing changed and is not yet supported in xDonkey.

It is for these reasons that I continue with the branch 2.5-16 which continues to evolve nevertheless.

JEEPERS!  The dmg opens fine. The xdonkey.mpkg installs ONLY the ML file, no xdonkey app ever shows up on my machine. >:^(

BASTI  Hi there!

Maybe I`am stuppid or something like that, but here: http://xdonkey.macdk.net/xDonkeyHelpEN/pgs/xd4.html I only could find information about the file size and other thing and nothing about "How could I tell xdonkey which folder it has to share"... Please Help.. Otherwise xdonkey is a good Program!! A litle buggy, but not useless...

ANONYMOUS  It's the 'How can I share files by posting their e2dk links ?' link.

The 'incoming' folder is the folder where the daemon stores your finished downloadings. It is accessible by the xDonkey menu.

ANONYMOUS  I do not want to sound negative among all those praises, but on my ibook the application unexpectedly quits after 30-40 minutes or the window stays completely blank when it has been hidden and must come back to the front. I won't give a negative note because I appreciate the effort but wished to notify the developpers about the issue.

MOOFISTO  Sounds like you need to replace the MLNet binary inside the app package with a new version. Check the xDonkey forums for more info.

(I'm running MLNet 2.5-16u-2 now without the quitting problem)

FRANZ  im never i've using before an "edonkey" client until this! ...look, work and feel great!

im a great "fan" of bittorrent protocol for your speed!! ...but with "donkey" i can found more files.

Once it is running it's CPU friendly and gives much faster search results. Stable as well
