DeIMG (was That's Not a Picture) converts images into intricate HTML tables. This application allows web authors to offer superior support for users who rely on browsers which support tables but not images.
PNG, TIFF, JPG, GIF and PDF files can be imported and converted to HTML, XHTML or XHTML+CSS.
Drag the image file onto DeIMG's icon, or into the image well on the left of its window. A HTML table describing the image using cell background colours appears in the right-hand field. A large image may take some seconds to translate.
The resulting table can be copied and pasted into a webpage's source. Alternatively, the "Generate header" option creates a stand-alone HTML page.
to all you devs out there moaning about this this app is a waste of time, go spend 5 minutes working on an e-mail campaign and then get back to me. Tables is virtually the only way to go if you want to appease Outlook 2007. (Version 3.1u)
ANONYMOUS What the heck is this thing? Whatever it is, it's real time-waster and I think that's the purpose of this software: to waste my time by turning pictures into tables. It's fun though so I think I'll give it five stars. (Version 3.1)
The French came to call April 1 Poisson d'Avril, or "April Fish." French children sometimes tape a picture of a fish on the back of their schoolmates, crying "Poisson d'Avril" when the prank is discovered.
It is a matter of fact: That's Not a Picture! :)) (Version 3.1)
ANONYMOUS I didn't get the impression it was a 'joke,' per se - another 'useless app,' as some like to call them, maybe. And by including some of the comments from VT and MU, the author seems to be enjoying poking more fun at the app. :) (Version 3.0)
