BRIAN KENDIG  Works just fine for generating test tones, and there are lots of options to play with. I don't know what the limitations of the unregistered version are.

AUBREY  This version requires an update to your registration code. I do not know if any cost is required...yet. If you do not have an older version backup, do not install until you have the upgrade code.

AUDIO ENGINEER  Please add tone bursts and 1/3-octave warble tones, very common for loudspeaker and listening room tests. You can see this site for a discussion of tone burst: Linkwitz - Toneburst Test Signals.

KATSURA  NOTE: the output level in AudioTest is a peak level, not an average level.

    ****.

    ANONYMOUS  Works....

The only thing I'd do is limit the frequency to 20Hz....with a warning if you want to go below that with speakers attached. Some amps like my Crown will go below 20Hz...if the amplitude is high enough....you could have cones in your lap. Anything other than Sine couls cause damage to the voice coils if the amp passes a square wave.

Also...when pink or white noise is selected....the level should be reset to a nominal or a warning displayed when play is clicked to check levels...again for saftey sake.
