DESCRIPTION
Active Timer keeps track of the amount of time you spend in each application. This is perfect for automating the process of keeping track of time spent on a project. You can easily sum up the times of mulitple apps, and it saves your time on quit. It also allows for saving a current time to a file, and opening it back up later.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.3.3:
  • Fixed problem with negative times (the main reason I am releasing this interim update)
  • Start/Pause is now assigned to enter key, just hit enter and go.
  • An easier way to deselect all items (just click on the label, "Sum of times:" — before you had to command click to deselect a selected item)
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

EARLEYEDITION  Active Timer now requires Tiger, 10.4

Would be really good to see options that would allow automatic saving of daily information, or inbuilt tools to analyse the data over time.

RICH K.  what a great litle app now with csv support i can export daily to excel.

the only thing I'd like to see is a menubar icon to help me remember to switch the timer on after a restart!

well done to the dev.
