From the developer's site: "As of 01-Jan-2009, Sogudi is no longer supported and development has ceased. I have many reasons for this, but the only one that matters is that I no longer have the source code due to a simultaneous crash of my main and backup drives. I've spent more than a year trying to recover the code, but I've now admitted defeat and no longer intend to work on this project. My apologies to everyone."
DESCRIPTION
Sogudi is an add-on for Apple's Safari Web Browser that allows you to visit and search your favorite sites using just a few simple keystrokes in the location bar instead of long and complex URLs. These shortcuts allow you to enter additional parameters that would not be possible with standard bookmarks. Sogudi comes loaded with several common shortcuts and more can be added by the user. Sogudi now allows you to view unix man pages directly from within Safari.
A note for sites such as MacUpdate, VersionTracker, Tucows, etc: Please do not update your listings to this version yet. It is not ready for the general public. The download has no instructions or installer. This page is meant for beta testers, only. They know what they are getting into, but the visitors to your sites will not. (Version 0.4.7b)
ALUAKZ Please please please make Sogudi compatible with Safari 3! I got a new mac with Leopard, and Safari 3 seems so useless without Sogudi... (Version 0.4.6)
MACUPDATE ADMIN You really should contact the developer regarding such matters. (Version 0.4.6)

COPILOTO I think that his comment makes sense because it is informative. It took me a long time (and several installs-reinstalls later) to figure out why Safari 3's address bar and search bar were not working. It was because of Sogudi (which, incidentally, is a wonderful plug-in). (Version 0.4.6)

SCHMELDING From the developer's site: "Sogudi is not compatible with Safari 3 Beta. At this time there are no plans to modify Sogudi to work with Safari 3 while it still remains in beta release."
My response: Grrr. (Version 0.4.6)

LEOOFBORG Excellent plugin for Safari, now updated for Intel and with man2html built in! Hint for man and apropos here:
ERRORR Thank you for the Intel version. I missed the "Default search" feature of Sogudi when I had to temporarily switch to SafariSIA for its Intel campatibility. It (SafariSIA) drives me crazy when it tries to load my search queries as domains because I forgot to add a "g" in front for google search. (Version 0.4.6)
