DESCRIPTION

downCast converts XML documents valid according to the upCast DTD (and, in fact, any XML document whose DTD can be mapped into the upCast DTD) linked with an external stylesheet to Word and Rich Text Format (RTF) for editing and printing.

Combine it with upCast, and you have a combo that offers a unique, streamlined, roundtrip-capable and integrated XML editing and publishing solution based, among others, on the open standards XML, XLink, XSLT and CSS2.

JASON EMANUELSON  Prohibitively expensive and one of the absolute most complicated pricing schemes I have ever seen. I love the idea of their software, but the only ones that can afford it are big corporations. They would make a lot more money if the price wasn't in upwards of $2,400-7,800. Yes, they have a basic license, but it is for one person, does one file at a time.   (Version 1.8.1)

ANONYMOUS  It does not run in my PowerMac Dual 2.3Ghz.  (Version 1.6.4)

ANONYMOUS  Interspersed with Random characters? Useless to me. Should not be classified as shareware as it is not really functional upon download. It is really a demo if you want to evaluate it - skip to the 30 day trial.  (Version 1.5.3)
