IAN LUECK  True, the physics need some work, but it's nice to finally have an update for this fun little app. And the advancement to 3D and music support is a big plus. Needs some fine-tuning, but it's a promising start.

ANONYMOUS  Its too dark. The strongest power isn't anywhere near strong enough. The ball physics when you put spin on the ball are totally wrong. Has this guy even played pool?

JOEL NELSON  It does what the description says it will, and is fun to play, but the graphics and game speed could use improvements.

ANONYMOUS  When you shoot the balls they don't roll and the gameplay is really strange. If you like pool you should play Yahoo Pool online. It's got good features and is pretty fun.

L008COM  Needs work! They forgot the 'b' in the version number. Could be good one day, but no today.

QUANTUM PANDA  A good start. I've been looking for an OS X native pool simulation for a long time; I guess I may as well give up on Quarter Note updating Ultimate Pool for OS X (and it doesn't work very well in Classic--I have to boot into OS 9 to play it decently).

This one still has some things to work out, though. The physics model seems a bit sloppy yet; balls don't seem to go in quite the correct direction after being struck. An aiming line like Ultimate Pool has would be helpful; in real pool, you can sight along the cue, but with a fixed overhead view, you can't do that, so an alternate "sighting" method is important. And any game that uses mouse movement for aiming should offer a fullscreen mode so that moving the mouse outside the window doesn't stop activity. But it's a good start.
