AKCELIA  I am not one to write comments generally on products that do what they profess to do, but I had tried other products on my Olympus digital camera disk, and they had not worked. This one brought back the 147 photos that I had despaired of ever seeing. Note that I ran it once, and it said "No files recovered." I ran it again without letting the computer go to sleep. I also restarted and switched USB ports that the card reader was in, and those kinds of rituals, and it worked like a charm. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Yippee!!  (Version 2.1.999)

    JFM  Impressive! Works very well!

My sister arrived tonight at my home: she was unable to download the 220 pictures she had on her Nikon camera. I made several attempts myself, no way to do it. She had gone to the local shop where she had bought the camera, they attempted with a card reader: no success, card corrupted.

I then remembered having read about PhotoRescue Wiward and PhotoRescue Expert. I decided to test Wizard, since it seemed to be the easiest one to use. I selected PTP, didn't recognize the disk. I then tried with Mass Storage, and this time it identified the disk. PhotoRescue spent a few minutes attempting to access the content, and then... miracle! One by one, the "lost" pictures began to appear on the screen, it recovered all of them! No need to say I immediately bought Wizard, which allowed me to get the code for activating the code. (By the way, this is a very nice way of providing the ability to test a shareware: I didn't need to buy it before making absolutely sure it would work for the specific task I wanted to do.)

Once I got my code and activated fully the Wizard, it was just a matter of a few minutes to have all the pictures on my computer. And I did not even need a card reader, although this is recommended: I managed to do it straight from the camera!

Wonderful was also the fact that it is extremely easy to use even for a non technical user: it just does the job, the only thing one has to do is to click on "Next".

After this very good experience, I just don't understand how there can be people who are not pleased with that Wizard! For me, it did its job wonderfully, and I give it 5 stars on each category (true, it does not have many features: but how can one complain about that when the main feature is... simplicity! why to have many features when it just works the way it is? and people who want more are free to buy the expert version).  (Version 2.1.677)

KEVIN LI  you are not be able to rescue any single pic unless paid for the app. For some guys accidentally deleted one or two pic, is that reasonable cost u $40?  (Version 2.1.665)

    *....

ANONYMOUS  The app is very slow and doesn't actually show you anything but purple tinted thumbnails of what it might recover unless you pay $30.

Who is going to pay $30 on the chance it might work????  (Version 2.0)
