KILA  I can't seem to install this update - I select the Tiger Woods app and it gets to half way then just crashes.

Any ideas?

GREENIE  Why has this update been added to the OLD version of Tiger Woods? This is by a different publisher and is a cider port so in so many ways is completely different...

HYPS  Playing for a while now. The patches have improved stability from about a 3 to 4 out of 5 but this isnt a big problem because in general you can start from the begining of the hole it crashed on. Apart from this the game is great. But can get a little repetitive in carrer mode as you end up just repeating the same things over and over again. This isnt a major drawback because thats just liek golf is any way.

So overall a great game with a few stability problems but with futher patching sould be perfect.

I havbe no idea what the other people are haveng problems with. Sound like there computer isn't looked afer properly and not the game.

SLIM  Dual 2.5 with 3 gigs the game keeps locking up! I should be able to run EVERYTHING on high but even on origional settings it's locking up on me

ANONYMOUS  Using a 1.25ghz Powermac running 10.2.6, this game, the full version that is, runs fantastic. Only every once in a great while does it freeze, but that's fairly rare. Graphics are great. Career mode can get absurdly easy, even in the most advance stages, but the "Play Golf", PGA Season option allows you to adjust the difficulty to suit and can be quite challenging. I play this game very often, it really is the best golf game I've ever seen, hour of good, non-violent, fun........

ANONYMOUS  I just bought it. Once I try to open the game, it gives me an error message that says, "initialization of display adapter failed. Set the displayt to high.... The next message was distorted. I don't know what the problem is, please help. I'm using the iMac DV 500 graphite with 128 MB of RAM.

ANONYMOUS  It's actually a good game, once you get it to work.

I bought a copy for M$Windows, and it's excellent. Quite addictive. Seems that Aspry did a poor porting job.

TIM  This demo of Tger Woods PGA Tour 2003 is nothing short of pathetic. Obviously the full version of the game will be much better, but I would imagine that the gameplay will be very similar - terrible. This is yet another poor attempt from Aspyr to port a highly successful and incredible console game to the Mac. I have played TW2003 extensively on the xbox (God help my soul) which has me addicted, but although I have been excitedly anticipating the Mac version, I am wary of spending the money on it after such a mediocre demo game.

One thing that I was impressed with was the graphics. On my G4 with 64mb Radeon the graphics were certainly superior to the xbox.

Overall I would give the demo a 2 out of 5 rating.
