MACERICG  I haven't used this software in years (maybe a decade), but from the new features list I can understand why.

Things like drop shadows, multi-column text boxes and text on a path have been around in InDesign and XPress for years. Granted, the sort feature sounds neat, but how often will I use that? Probably not much.

Perhaps this has a niche design market, but as someone who designs ads for newspapers, magazines and phone books — I don't see it.

MACNEWS  Just downloaded and installed this beta, and it's telling me it's expired upon the very first launch -- I hope someone from the company catches this quickly. I'd really like to give this new version a try.

SWORPHY  I have spent the last 8 years using this software, and I would have to say that it is the WORST piece of software I have ever used.

As a designer I mainly use Illustrator and Photoshop, this program makes it hard to work, previews of files within MUAD are terrible and the tools are limited and clumsy.

Not a patch on InDesign with its superior tools and type management and its seemless integration with AI and PS.

PUNKBASEBALLGIRLEY  I used this program as a graphic designer for the yellowpages and fell in love with the program. It's so user friendly and from being used to quark it was very simlpe to use and made other design software seem harder than it needs to be. one of my favorite tools was being able to togle back from a text tool to an art tool without using my mouse.. Made using Quark after hard and frustraiting.
