DNEM41  please keep developing this. i do not know enough code to add/edit anything, otherwise i would.

i like being able to navigate thru the months directly from my menu bar under the "Go" submenu. but i find it cumbersome to go thru all the menu/list items to get there.

this is an extra bell and whistle that most beginning users wouldn't even care to do, but users who've had this for a while might find this feature useful.

also i had the appearance customized exactly how i wanted it, then tried one of the presets under the appearance list. i wish i would have been more careful because this erased my previous setup. i know it didnt actually "erase" anything, but i had to go thru all the font lists again just to get it back to my favorite setup. i would like a feature that would be able to save or simply "remember" my previous setup.

TANGENTZ  Truly Mac! It's goodies like this that are saving the Mac-as-we-knew-it. Still miss the freedom of OS9, but this is great, thanks!

Only thing I would like, is a way to remove the menubar and dock icons. Already overcrowded, and with the Desktop itself as the calendar, who needs another one in the dock or menubar?

Any help how to modify would be appreciated, thanks!

FRONTPAGE  Ive had this app for several years now, shortly after its inception. I came in, checking whether there were any updates since July of 2003 (none).

Well, there hasn't been a need for one, except if there is a problem with the week counter, as a reviewer has written. But this app is clean, configurable, a must for me with my constant daily captions in which I need a calendar with quick- glance so I dont have to open the app every time or move it around.

DesktopCalendar has been in my Jaguar and Panther OS daily, and yet have I had a single complaint or problem. It's the best calendar I can think of. I have it starting with my startup items. Others in the photo department have placed the software on their desktops as well.

FYI, it's on Powerbook G3s, G4s, iBooks, G4 Sawtooths, and G3 Beiges (all running various versions of Panther or Jaguar). I've traveled in different parts of the world and the calendar stays right where I need as I switch time zones. Download it. It's stable, unobtrusive, outstanding.

TORE NYBERG  Sorry to say that the weeknumbers for 2005 are wrong. The calendar is showing week 10 in stead of week 9, and so on...

FRONTPAGE  Terrific calendar. I really appreciate how it can be customized. Gave the old iBook (G4 500 Mhz) to another staffer who, when seeing it, requested that I leave it for him to use, and I'm adding this to my 1 GHz Powerbook G4. My friend is very conservative with additional software added to a computer, but he instantly took to Desktop Calendar.

Colors and fonts are customizable, and the cal isn't obtrusive at all. It isn't at all a CPU hog. Stable, too. Beats iCal, IMHO.

WEBGOD  I'm glad to see this app rise again. I really enjoyed it when it first came out and could never find it again. Would love if you could hide the date in the menubar...
