JP3421 Excellent, EXCELLENT program. Ease of design is excellent, but its ability to print accurately on virtually any third-party business card paper from any manufacture with very little effort on my part is also outstanding. And not to mention its tight Address Book integration and mail-merge-like feature to create business cards for a whole company with ease. I've even used it simply as a convenient print layout helper: I once designed someone's business card in Illustrator, then transferred all elements to Business Card Composer just to skip the whole process of configuring layout for accurate printing on an inkjet printer. Strongly recommended! (Version 5.0.2)

LOUNGE DELUXE Steep upgrade price of $19.95. Pity, especially considering the fairly high full version purchase price for an app that just composes business cards. It is my guess that BeLight reckons potential buyers of BCC will be professionals with plenty of cash. Seems like I'll have to continue using version 4 (that pretty much serves my purpose). BELIGHT TEAM We understand that some people are satisfied with Business Card Composer 4, and decide not to transfer to the latest version 5. Especially for these people we released Free update to v.4 making the program compatible with Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard), which allowed you to continue using and enjoying previous version of the program. FONTCUBERTA I have to agree; I'm a big fan of BeLight and often recommend their software to friends, family, and clients, but frequently the upgrade price is a bit too steep, especially (as noted) for a one-trick pony like BCC. (Version 5.0.1)

DAVID DOCKERY As a graphic artist I find this app is a great inspiration. Even though I can create the work myself I love to find new ideas by looking in books etc.. this app has already inspired me to go in directions I may have not ordinarily gone and I don't have to worry about copyright infringement. Also - it is a timesaver for me. Time is something designers are always in desperate need of. Thanks for a great program!! (Version 4.1)

RUBAIYAT Hmmm… I'd give the designs a B- If you are really a professional I can not see why you would be using this, as creating Business Cards in almost any layout program is not going to stretch the creative juices nor your basic skill set. (Version 5.0.1)

ERIC It Downloads 3.1 ... I bought this app a few months ago and it just keeps getting better and more elegant. For making up business cards it doesn't get any more effortless and fun than this. Beautifully laid out with large work areas and an easy to understand interface make it a joy rather than a burden to do this task. This is what third party apps should aspire to ... function, esthetics, and fun! The cards turn out absolutely fantastic ... you won't be sorry you spent the money ... (Version 3.1)

RAWSWEETS I'm a freelance graphic artist, and this is what I plan to use for all my clients, who are looking for a business card. Two features did it for me: Address Book synchronization and automatic page layout. I can still design the card with my usual tools - like Illustrator and Photoshop - but now I don't have to bother with bleeds , etc. (whew!) And now, when it comes to changing a name, I don't have to edit ANYTHING but an addressbook entry and re-export the layout; this, instead of editing multiple text objects and rearranging cards. Sure, there will be times when only Illustrator will do - but that's why they pay me the big bucks... To handle it - and this app does. I just bought it after playing around for 10 minutes. It's worth it to me and my bottom line. My profit margins just gained weight!! Awesome app - any improvements would only be made in the wizard-like startup, which doesn't hold one's hand enough (tooltips/pop-ups would be helpful). High quality programming and appealing built-in templates. I'm using a few as starters. Great work! (Version 2.3)

ANONYMOUS I can't agree with those who say this app is too expensive. I just used it to print photo-quality cards for a new venture and they turned out absolutely beautifully. Even though I really only needed the program for one design, the quotes I received from both on-line and local printshops had set-up fees considerably more than than $40.00 (that's excluding the actual cost of printing the cards). In addition, I got to take a look at my design before committing to a printer or paying for a proof(s). BTW, I've also got MS Publisher on my Wintel box, and it's nowhere near as simple to use to produce professional-quality photo business cards. I highly recommend this app for SOHO businesses and others who need professional cards without bleeding money. (Version 2.3)

ANONYMOUS I own it and I have to say, as much as I like the program, I have to agree with many others; it's not worth the money. If it were priced at $25 or less, it would sell but it's just not enough bang for your buck... (Version 2.2)
