DESCRIPTION

My Favorite Things puts the things you use most right at your fingertips. It sorts its menu based on what you do most often. You can use it to launch anything on your computer or on the Internet. Open applications or websites, send email, even launch terminal commands and applescripts. And best of all, the things you use most will be the easiest to find from its menu bar icon or with a hot key you define.

We call My Favorite Things a self-configuring launch utility because it's the first launcher we know of that doesn't make you set it up. My Favorite Things will watch the way you use your computer and decide from what it sees what you are most likely to want to open next. What ends up in My Favorite Things depends totally on what you do with your computer.

GAZMAN  It is a pity this program is no longer being developed as it is my favourite menubar launcher. I guess its because there are now a lot of free launchers that offer a lot more options, but I like the basic simplicity of this program.  (Version 1.5.2)

RACHEL  I really like this menubar application. To the reviewer who said the icon is ugly, you are right. It is hideous, but you can also change it to a lovely plain black icon in the preferences. Likewise, you can make all of the icons small (except the My Favorite Things one, which I am hoping the developer will change soon). It can be disconcerting to have the order of applications move around, but I can always find what I need when I use this application. It has been a start-up item on my machine for months now.  (Version 1.5.2)

DAVID SETTANI  I downloaded your file many times but I cannot open it. Stuffit expander says the file is not compressed and it will not open. I truly would like to try your software. It sounds like a great application. Let me know what I'm doing wrong.   (Version 0.8.5)
