FOOFOORABBIT ScummVM is the most amazing open source project out there. While I don't agree with the ScummVM team's GUI design decisions (they refuse to make the app more Mac-like to keep it fully portable and consistant across all platforms), I'm amazed at hard work they've put into making all the LucasArts, HE, and many other adventure games from the late 80s and early 90s work on any platform. Sarien was merged a while ago to add all the Sierra AGI games...and recently (in 0.14 subversion builds), FreeSCI's SCI engine was merged to add many of the Sierra SCI games. Booya! MARIUS_TH search REALLY hard, some of them have been officially abandoned and are freely available on the net. (Version 0.82)

JORY Most are still available for sale from LucasArts! (Version 0.9.1)

DINOWARRIOR You could always break the law and search for them on bit torrent sites and download them if you have a broadband connection. I do not have to do that since I bought them all in package deals offered by LucasArts a long time ago. (Version 0.10)

LKM Buy them. Check out LucasArts' site, amazon.com or eBay. Many of these games are still being sold by LucasArts or distributors, often in compilations. (Version 0.11)

ANONYMOUS Incredible program. I love the old LucasArts games, they're some of my favorites. I've completed several games with this, including The Dig, Day of the Tentacle, and Curse of Monkey Island. All of the games performed flawlessly. Thank you for this program! (Version 0.7.1)

ANONYMOUS scumm vm refuses to recognize the game files as such--it wont let me add games to the list (game files are grayed out when browsing), which renders the app useless. am i missing something? anyone else have this problem? (Version 0.6.1b)

IMACTHERE4IAM Sorry to say this, but RTFM. In the readme it specifies how to 'ReSCUMM' some game files in order to make them playable in SCUMMVM. (Version 0.6.1b)

MIKKEL LEMVIG My game-files were also greyed out, but when asked by the ScummVM interface to find the gamefiles, I just pointed to the folder containing the files and it worked. (Version 0.7)

JOSEPH HUMFREY Wow! I had only just bought Monkey Island 3, and played it through on my PC before I found I could've played it on my Mac! This is incredible - thank you so much. I feel the incentive to play all the way through all the Lucasarts games all over again :-) It's a bit of a shame the game loading interface isn't all nice and cocoa-ed (seems to be a direct port using SDL?) but otherwise, fantastic work. Again - thank you! (Version 0.5.1)

ANONYMOUS This is an amazing piece of programming, and a great way to play these games. Trying to set up an old Win95 machine, fiddling with sound and graphics for days can't compare to downloading ScummVM and it's 30 second game config. Playing these games is better now on OS X than when the games were first released! (Version 0.5.1)
