RedPill is a free screensaver for Mac OS X. It displays strips of
green alien code which slowly draw themselves on the screen as they
sweep towards you in 3D. It may bear a certain resemblance to graphics seen in a popular Sci-Fi movie sequel released in May 2003.
THUS.SPAKE.Z Of course, that should read OS 10.4 or OS 10.5. MU really should give those who post comments/reviews the option to edit. (Version 1.5)

MACUPDATE ADMIN You do have that option, albeit time-limited. You make a post and then whilst reviewing it you see a typo, etc., so you go to your (http://www.macupdate.com/users/thus.spake.z) MU page and edit the post. (Version 1.5)

MRPETKUS Excellent! Smooth, scrolling graphics, nice depth effect. The best one yet. Works perfect on Snow Leopard. (Version 1.5)
MACSOLU Although it is mentioned as being ONLY for Snow Leopard, I wonder why the developer did not make the effort to create a Leopard/Snow Leopard dual-compatible release. After all, virtually every other screensaver that has been updated in the past few weeks has managed to be work with both 10.5.x AND 10.6.x. (Version 1.5)
META If you can tell me how to persuade OS X to compile a version that works on all OS releases, I'll give it a try. I've been unable to find the information on the ADC site. (Version 1.5)

MACSOLU How about chatting with the developers of other screensaver modules which have been recently updated?
(I know this is not a Big Thing -- it's just more of a pain for end-users to try to keep track of what software version is compatible with what OS.) (Version 1.5)

TOLRODCO Just wanted to let all know that RedPill isn't compatible with Snow Leopard. (Version 1.4.2)
SANHOLO For those of you missing a good and free Matrix Screensaver on Intel Macs, you can get "GLMatrix", which is included in the port of the Unix-Xscreensaver package available here: http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/download.html
It looks very similiar and runs great. (Version 1.4.2)
