Features

  • Register your copy of fennel DVDManager and get rid of the li'l Donate button, among other things...
  • ... then don't forget to use the new Unregister action when selling or giving your old Mac away!
  • Qualified for Mac OS X v10.5.2
Enhancements
  • Our Read Me file and license agreement are now always available from the Help menu
  • Modernized the look of the main window to better comply with Leopard's new theme and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for Leopard
  • Replaced our custom rating system with the standard iTunes-like ranking mechanism, inheriting its clean selected display mode
  • Made the Filter and Search toolbar items Regular-sized (thus sensitive to the Small Size view mode)
  • Slightly modified the Rate and Web Export toolbar items for them to be sensitive to the Small Size view mode
  • Improved our French, Russian, and Turkish localizations (some translations were missing, some others needed a bit of a cleanup)
Fixes
  • The No Filters option of the Filter action's global and contextual menus was not checked by default; it's now fixed
  • British English: An additional DVDManager > Register DVDManager... menu item could be found in build 51; it's no longer the case
  • Russian: The Run Time controls in the Details pane were not correctly repositioned when the drawer was resized
  • Russian: Fixed an inconsistent state where a search placeholder may be different from the chosen search option

FENNELSOFTWARE  Dear fsDM Users,

Through this alert bulletin, we'd like to let you know that we're now aware of problems re the retrieval of DVD details through Amazon-based Web sources. We'd also like to tell you that we've already started investigating what could be the cause of such an issue, and we'll try to keep you informed of our progress towards solving it. Be assured we'll do our best to get your beloved DVD manager back and running as expected as soon as possible. But we don't ignore the possibility that those Web sources may be temporarily removed from fsDM if a new implementation of those retrieval mechanisms was going to be needed…

We're really sorry for the inconvenience, and we'd like to thank you all for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

JOHNNY ROCKET  I've been keeping my dvd's in an excel file, I wish DVDManager could import it so I don't have to manually type in 300 dvd's  (Version 1.6.7v43)

CMUVIOLIN  Having about 150 DVD's this is a dream come true. Not only does this help me keep track of all of my movies, but lets me know which ones are checked out, and who has it (working is Address Book). Thank you for the great software.  (Version 1.6.7v42)
