QuickImageCM is a contextual menu plugin that lets you view image file directly from Finder. It also has some other feature like add/remove thumbnail icons, copy image to clipboard, move image to trash, view size enlargement/reduction, etc...
Added progress dialog display to 'Add Thumbnail Icon' and 'Convert Image' functions, which let users cancel the operation anytime in the middle.
Increased the speed of making thumbnail icon (3 times faster than before) by eliminating of generating small icons. (Now only 128x128 dot icon is generated).
Added a preference option whether to add or not to add black frame to thumbnail icons.
Improved the image quality of thumbnail icons.
Added 'Delete Resource Fork' function which eliminates extra data from image files in addition to thumbnail icons.
Added Label button to the main view window, which let users add/remove label easily for organizing images.
Changed all blank menu items to separator lines in pulldown menu at main view dialog.
Fixed a bug of undo/redo processing during file switching back and forth.
DOUG ENGELBART It's still functioning perfectly on my Mac OSX.5.8 (G4 1.25 GHz) ... and so did it under OSX.4 and OSX.2! Much better than Apple's "Quick Look". (Version 2.4)
SHRALLDAM I'm missing QuickImage so much... As said in comments below, I'm ready to pay a few bucks if this little gem is revived by its developer. (Version 2.4)
JONNYG75 THis was one of my favorite little apps ever. If the developer would just make a universal binary i'm sure everyone would be willing to pay for it. I'd throw 10-15 dollars for it easy. Is there any other universal program anyone has seen that allows for right click menu size conversions like this? its so annoying how the other apps expect you to actually run a whole other UI and drag shit in and out. Quick image was for lack of better words "so much quicker!" (Version 2.4)
