APPSCOUT  I like this software.

It would be great if you could:

- make it Universal.

- allow editing in map view aswell.

- open-source this to let it continue developing.

CIRTICBP  Really excellent free mind map software that is nicely customisable. Can crash if you try to delete too many branches in mindmap view, much better to do moving around etc. in list view mode and then give it a few moments to redraw the mindmap. A preference to open new maps with your preferred set up would be nice, but it's hard to complain when it's otherwise so good, and free.

AMBIENTLIGHT  I write as a hobby, and I'm already finding this sleek little app very useful to keep tabs on plot elements, characters and progress, although I think it would probably be useful for many other things.

Some suggestions for use: meal planning (make a matrix of your weekly shoppling list to know what you have to work with) to school work (memorize the cast of King Lear with familial connections, map out the animal kingdom, connect metaphors for a term paper) to business (plan a timeline for that big leap public) to collectors to hobbyists to -- well, a lot of things.

Despite a learning curve, MyMind is definitely worth a try.

Novamind allows you to select a group of branches and move them. Being able to cut/copy and paste them would also be a great option

A choice of different colour for each branch

Basically, the more industry standard features + a little extra to screwover corporate pricks the better. If the features of Mind Manager &

Novamind were combined and available cross platform, I'd be in digiheaven.

LOREM IPSUM  This piece is fantastic. Straight and to the point, it makes outlines and mapping a piece of cake. I've tried other programs that were similar, but this one certainly seems to be the best. Good job!

ANONYMOUS  Very useful. I'll be sad to see this become a commercial product, but I can understand if it does. However, I would like to see the ability to use key commands to make siblings and sub-items instead of having to click the buttons. I like the option of hitting return to make siblings in the preferences, but could you also add a second option of hitting tab to make sub-items, much in the way OmniOutliner does? Just a thought. A very nice piece of software otherwise.
