DESCRIPTION

Safe Place is an application designed to securely store your passwords, credit card numbers, software registration numbers, or any other information you want to keep handy and safe from prying eyes.

Safe Place organizes your information into categories, which you can completely customize. We've preconfigured Safe Place with seven common categories. You can change or delete these, and create more of your own. Each category can have from one to forty custom fields. The fields can be grouped into sets to make them easy to manage.

Safe Place stores your data in an encrypted format, and uses your password as the encryption key. Your data can only be viewed using this password.

RPITCAIRN  I have been using this software for some years now and it functions very well for me — except for a recent problem. Since upgrading to Leopard, I cannot print files from SP on my iMac G5. It starts like it is going to, printer window comes up but nothing happens after sending off the file to print. Also cannot print a pdf.

I have emailed the developer several times over the last few months and he does not reply, so this is discouraging in regards to support.

I don't know how much this is a problem for others.  (Version 2.2.4)

VAREN  I second the iPhone/touch request. I'd love to see a client w/ syncing for that platform.  (Version 2.2.4)

AJAHN  As a registered owner of Safe Place, since March 2005, I've just got to say that this is a one of the most useful apps that I use. I must bring it up 3 or 4 times a day, and it is super fast, even with my 200+ entires. I love how configurable it is. I generally go with free applications, but after trying out Safe Place, I decided to fork over the super reasonable price of $10. You can even use it from more than one computer on a network. The single encrypted data file is easy to back up. If you need to restore, just move the single data file to the right place, and you've got your backed up data.

I hope that someday we'll have this app available on our iPhone.

I just can't say anything bad about Safe Place. Good and friendly support if you ever need it.

FIVE STARS! BRAVO!  (Version 2.2.1)
