DESCRIPTION
dataComet-Secure X is an AppleScriptable Macintosh Telnet/TN3270 application offering full-featured color emulation of IBM 3279, DEC VT220, and PC-ANSI/SCO-ANSI terminals. Security is provided through SSH1/SSH2, SSL/TLS, and Kerberos 5 for Telnet & TN3270 connections.
Features include flexible and easy-to-use key remapping, macro script recording, integrated edit windows, modeless configuration dialogs, and SCP, ZMODEM and IND$FILE file transfer; modem and other serial connections can be used with the ASCII terminal emulators to access BBS.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 10.2.0b3:
- Now packaged as a Universal Binary, which yields greatly enhanced performance on Intel machines. This also avoids spontaneous logout problems which have cropped up with PPC applications running on Snow Leopard.
- Resizing or zooming an emulator window now resizes the font to fit the screen area.
- The Comet fonts are now embedded in the application bundle in addition to being provided as free-standing fonts, so it is no longer necessary to install them in the /Library/Fonts folder in order to get correct rendering of graphic characters.
