DESCRIPTION
AudioFinder is an audio asset management system, and music production hub. AudioFinder gathers all the most useful tools in one quick and intuitive application, enabling you to be more creative by handling all the time consuming tasks that slow down your music production.

AudioFinder can build a catalog of every sound on your system, save it, and search it instantly to find the sounds you need when you need them. Use AudioFinder to create custom sets for sound categories and specific projects, with fast file browsing to audition, analyze, process, convert, and move or copy the samples in your library.

AudioFinder can visualize sounds instantly with the waveform overview and preview them at any pitch via MIDI or the built in keyboard, all in real-time. Sounds can even be previewed through your favorite AudioUnits. Speaking of Plug-Ins, AudioFinder features an advanced Plug-In manager and slew of other studio necessities that will make your workflow flow. Necessities like the MetaEditor with built-in beat detection and tools for fast trimming, fading, slicing and dicing your sounds. You can even convert your audio sample CDs into individual files with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Built 100% for Mac OS X using CoreAudio, AudioFinder is PPC and Intel Native.

MOOGAN  Audiofinder is an excellent application for anyone with a reasonable collection of samples, allowing you to find and edit your library. Works seamlessly with my samples (over 35gb) and handles all sorts of fle typs. Massive depth to the features, definitely worth trying out if you have a sample collection used with Ableton Live, Logic or similar DAW. Hard to imagine working without it.

SOUNDMAN  Been using this app. for 3.5 years. I produce computer music, with a rather complicated hardware setup, the 'core' of which is an 8 core MacPro and a total of 11 hard drives (samples, scratch, users folder, archive, backup, etc.) AudioFinder is my 'go to' app., the glue that holds my operation together, because it is multifaceted in use and enables me to locate, preview, move, edit, batch process and keep up to date the many audio files (at least 150 gigs worth) I have, and which are spread out over several hard drives and many cd's and dvd's.

Developer stays way on top of things. I only wish some of my other audio software was as reliable, efficient and bug free.

Not for the dilettante, it is a Glock among 38 specials.

ICED AUDIO  AudioFinder has been 100% Snow Leopard compatible since 4.9.7. Have not received any tech support emails with 4.9.7 or later in regards Snow Leopard. AudioFinder is built and developed on Snow Leopard exclusively.

I suggest if you have issues, you email for free tech support.

DJEFIS  I personally have mine two favourite: The first one is AudioFinder, the second is Amadeus Pro. AudioFinder is simply Superlative, simpler and more usable Amadeus.

Five stars to both, considering the price in favor of Amadeus.

Thanks everyone.

Maurizio.

NONEO  Gets better and better!

Simply can't live without it!

This application is a must for every Audio Studio, Pro or not!

There is nothing that I'm missing. The Interface is getting close to beautiful!

I think it's worth twice the price, simply because you get as many codes as you need.

Thank you so much!

ANAME  Also see Sound Miner (www.soundminer.com). Although it is much more expensive, it might suit some users needs better than this program. Then again, maybe not. It's just a tip if you want to look in to alternatives.

I wish this app had a separate column where you can edit(view your own file comments. That is one of the most important features missing, which makes it perhaps better for sound designers to use Sound Miner, which gives the users a terrific oversight of their comments/descriptions.

REGISTERED USER  There isn't anything on the market, at any price, that comes near the primary functionality of this app...let alone all the other bells and whistles packed into it.

If you are in the business of producing or engineering audio on a Mac, you owe it to yourself to download this and try it out.

If it had rollover help, I'd have given it a 5 for Ease of Use.

96KHZ.DK  This is the perfect app. for everyone in the audio business.

For me, an engineer/designer in theatre and composing, this app is the only app which works for me.

Super easy access to all audio files, samples and sound effects.

Thanks for making this app.
