PAUL COOK  Worked with my Motorola V3i with iTunes under Leopard 10.5.3. It has a much better interface with a lot more control than iSync. Worth the $$$. iSync is free and it too is worth every penny of what you pay for it. ;-)

For some reason, I just couldn't get Apple's iSync to work anymore. If it wasn't for the general slowness and issues of Leopard, I'd wonder if it wasn't that they wanted to "encourage" me to buy an iPhone.

I tried both USB and BlueTooth with iSync for 4 to 6 hours on two different Macs and the net result was that I then had ZERO addresses. Sometimes kernal panic. Other times it wouldn't see the phone, etc.

With OnSync, I was able to get my addresses into the phone. It has more control and more features than iSync. AND IT WORKS!!!

VANMAC  I am very happy with this software. It works with my Mac OS 10.3.9 address book and my Motorola V710 via USB cable in Canada. The best was being able to downlaod a demo and test to see if it would work before my purchase. To my surprise it is the only software that seems to work on te Mac pre OS 10.4. I now have a backup of numbers in my phone on my mac.

MICHAEL CHANG  Not working on my Intel Duo Mini. The software worked fine (in demo mode) with old G4 tower and wife's G4 PowerBook. Using a Motorola v551 phone.

On Mini, all Entourage contacts are listed as:

    (no description available) (no numbers)

Emailed developer. He sent the test app. I emailed him the results. Haven't heard back.

M CHANG  Update: Antonio, at different times, has contacted me and sent me test versions to run. I then send him back a log file the test creates. I think he has nailed down the problem (the last test app he sent 6/29 appears to have worked). Stay tuned...

JOHNNY ROCKET  If you're having problems with this program then email the author. He'll send you a test version of the program that will generate some log information that you can email back to him that will help him troubleshoot the issue. I had to do this once and he was a great help, very responsive and got the issue fixed very quickly. This is a great little program.

MICHELLE  Hi. Looked good, so I bought it. Worked the first time I installed it. But now I can't see the numbers on my phone. I keep getting a "RemotePortNotInitialized" error on program startup, and if I push it the program will hang in such a way that I must restart my machine (force quit won't work). Any tips?

    ANTONIO  Hello,

feel free to contact the support

also if you are not registerd

have you tried to wait a few seconds

please unselect in the preferences the

checkbox load mobile phone contacts on startup

this should fix the problem, wait a couple of seconds

between startup of the program and the reload of contacts (this bug will be fixed in next release)

    sincerely

    ANTONIO  One more thing,

    to arrive changing the preferences

remove the preferences file before restarting the program, go to your homefolder/Library/Preferences

and remove the file named it.scriba.onsync.plist

    sincerely
