RSX  Can someone tell me how to update this app to the latest version of LAME which is version 3.97b2?

I have the Unix Executable File of LAME version 3.9.7b2 and I dropped it in "/Applications/LameBrain 0.6.2b3 20040306/bin" but when I try to encode I get a error from LAMEBrain.

ANONYMOUS  Why does this use LAME 3.95.1? I thought either 3.96.1 or 3.90.3 were the recommended versions  (Version 0.6.2b3)
