DESCRIPTION
iClock Pro is a menu bar replacement clock for Apple's default clock. iClock Pro is an update, total rewrite and improvement to the popular iClock. Have the day, date and time in different fonts and colors in the menubar. iClock is also a kind of centrally located time hub from which many time related functions can be controlled. iClock is an essential time utility for pilots, business people, travelers, and anyone who communicates with people in other time zones.
Features include:
- See the day/date/time in the menubar in different fonts/colors/formats. Customize it as you wish.
- Gives an easily accessible, at a glance system menu view of times/timezones/dates in as many parts of the world as you want.

MAC5 I would hardly be reading your reply if my email address had changed, which it hasn't in the last 26 years. I stand by by comments regarding iClock Pro, and would post similar comments on other apps I had been using for a number of years that I felt were both over priced and perhaps no longer value for money. iClock had enough to satisfy most Mac users without adding additional features which included a hefty $20.00 fee. These are my personal feelings, and it remains a useful alternative to the basic Apple date & time. Good luck with iClock Pro.

i clicked on your comment on macupdate to see your name and used that to check in our database of users and do not see you in there at all. you may have bought it a long time ago. we have been updating and upgrading iclock for over a decade. back in the last century we did not even know to keep peoples email addresses. still you must have bought an update a few years ago. perhaps we don't have your email because mail to your isp was bounced or because you have it go thru one of those stop spam security sites that requires a capcha (which unfortunately we can't spend out days filling out so that people get their email) or perhaps when you bought from us you opted to not receive mailings, etc. there are lots of reasons people don't get email from us. we actually try hard to reach everyone in different ways. we do love sending out updates to people if we have their email and they receive email. i am not saying your email has a problem. if you have had the same email for 26 years, which means in 1983 way ahead of us :) and it works fine then i am sure its fine. we are not perfect but i would like to know why you are not in our records at all. it may be that you bought under another name. also and maybe most important you think its $20 to upgrade and its not. its $20 to buy iclock but previous owners can contact us for a coupon to upgrade with. contact me at julian @ scriptsoftware.com without the spaces if you want. we appreciate your comments and we really do appreciate your being an owner of iclock in those early days. ps we like improving iclock and it is a continuing project. its not just a clock. its a time hub. that is how it will continue to evolve.

SYZZYGY I sent an iClock Pro trouble report to support@scriptsofware.com and got no reply. I then posted the issue in their forum, and got no response. I do think that iClock Pro is the bees knees when it works smoothly.....which is not that often, however, Scriptsoftware's support really sucketh in my experience. I really do hope that they get their act together and provide user friendly support and finally, a smooth working, bug free iClock pro.

MREDRUP To anyone thinking of purchasing this whilst still in beta, I would suggest you wait. I made the purchase and at this point I couldnt regret it more. It doesnt work 99% of the time. The time function continually unchecks it's self right after I check it. There isnt any help from the developer and subsequent beta versions are very infrequent. It's been about a month since the last one. Before making your choice go to the support forums on the developers website and you'll see how he has no interest in what people are posting.

SONJA1234 iClock is on and used all the time. I love it. I am from Austria but live in the US and travel a lot. Not only do I travel but I phone and video conference all over the world. With a click in the menubar iClock informs me immediately of the time in all the places I have family, friends or do business. There is more but just try it. It is kind of foolish not to immediately replace the Apple clock with iClock.

CHRISTOPH VOGELBUSCH Clicking onto Apple's clock just to see the date can be quite annoying which led me to iclock ... what I found was SOOOO much more. I still click up there now, but not when I need to see the date (that is now always visible :-), but when I want to plan my next weeks - saves me a trip into iCal so many times. But that is just the beginning, whenever I need a 5 minute break I pick out one more feature of iClock to discover, getting another time saver every day ... for no extra charge :-D quick access to system preferences, application switcher, menu customizer, timer, todo, .... Once you gave it a try you will agree: amazing, amazing, amazing Totally worth every cent!

KSINTON Wow, I love this clock. It's the best clock I have used yet. Usually only the clock apps with more limited functionality work well, but iclock is both feature rich and works perfectly. Thanks Script Software for all the time you put into making this application, the user interface is very well thought through and convenient to use.

JULIAN MILLER Thanks for all the interest in the new version and the upgrade. It is far better and far more usable then every before. It is presently a beta. The final version should be ready shortly. Until then its important to realize this is a beta. It is solid and stable but not feature complete. There are hundreds of settings and features in iClock Pro if you find something that does not work as expected or a spelling mistake then just let us know via our suggestion/bug form and it will be fixed in a week. We really appreciate feedback, all kinds, our aim is to continuously improve the software. On email. If we don't get back to you within a few hours, we are not ignoring you and we will get to you, we are a small company. There are a lot of iClock users and only a few of us. If you ordered and did not receive an email just let us know. We will resend it to you or you can log in and get your registration key or you can go to our support page and have it resent. ESPIRIDION Just a brief update: Thanks for removing the old $10 price. I also got the email with the discount coupon, but in March the upgrade was $10 so I did not feel like paying more than that and even with the coupon the final price was $15. iClock is now $20 and according to Julian's email will be $30 shortly. I was willing to pay $10 for my upgrade, but to me it's not worth more than that. The upgadeupgrade would come only IF I liked it better than You Control which has been pretty good for the last few versions. I tried to post in their forum and was asked to register. IIRC this is the 3rd time I've had to register there. I never got an email to activate my account, even after asking them to re-send the activation link which I never received in the first place. I did get a message saying that the activation code had been sent to my email address, but no email arrived. I also checked my spam folder. I stopped using their software years ago, and little seems to have changed. Moving on...

JULIAN MILLER please contact us. we would like to figure out why you are not getting into the forum. we can't fix it till we know about it. email julian @ scriptsoftware.com i get frustrated with software and hardware companies occasionally too. what i have found is that if i communicate direct with them it always seems to work out best for everyone it often takes time though. someday when i have more time i'll post a frustrating story about how i went swimming by accident with my iphone. the incident after some messages caused a change in apple's policy towards soggy iphones. it shows the value of feedback. thanks and we do value all comments. | |
