DESCRIPTION
Move Items X is a set of Mac OS X-compatible contextual menu plug-ins which allow users to copy items, move items and make aliases. Users can copy files or folders from the desktop or any folders to a specific destination by using the contextual menu features. Destinations folders will appear as hierarchical menus, i.e. entire hard disks will be listed on the menus, and users can browse to any levels of the hard disks. Support 7 languages: English, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.

WCITYMIKE This application no longer functions. It causes the Leopard Finder to crash (EXC_BAD_ACCESS, KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE). The website shows no signs of having been touched in a very long time: the screenshots on that page look like they're from Cheetah, for Pete's sake.

ANONYMOUS If you find yourself opening windows and more windows to move files, you'll love MIX! It is so simple, reliable, efficient, that I really wonder why Apple doesn't make it a routine part of the OS! It saves me more than $15 worth of my time, and I love it!

ANONYMOUS A recently released product, FolderGlance (available on MacUpdate) has made this product and most of the rest of this developers products, obsolete. Not only that, FolderGlance is free. If you liked Finder Pop under Classic you will love FolderGlance.

ANONYMOUS if you didn't know it already, FinderPop is BACK!!! still "pintware' and everything. so i guess all these types of apps are done for, including the one you're talking about, which i'm sure doesn't really do EVERYTHING this one does. Move Items does the moving, copying, aliasing to ANYWHERE on a mounted drive...NOT just the folders you have to set up BEFOREHAND. get your features straight before you bash a product.

DEEBEE I bought this early on in its dev cycle and Move Items X has paid for itself many times over. An indispensible utility for in so many ways, its inclusion of "Move via Bluetooth" is worth the price all by itself. Judge for yourself but I am one very satisfied customer. db, Austria

FLARCH Overpriced and rather bulky for a contextual menu but i like the straight forward simplicity. QuickAccess is NOT a replacement for this.

HAMMER QuickAccess works seamlessly and faultlessly on my 10.3.9 installation. And like the last guy says, it's free. I have nothing against supporting good developers, but I can't see dishing out $15US for this.

FLASH1296 I love this and I have used it for many years now. If you move as many files as most users do, then it is worth about $5. If you move as many files as i do, then it is worth about $15.

TUISHIMI Somebody is a BeOS fan. These are the same contextual menu features available with the BeOS, which I had actually been hoping OS X (and GNOME for that matter) would incorporate! $15... a bit pricy, on the other hand why not try and make a buck if you can.

ANONYMOUS Why even bother with &16? Just for the interface? I can create all kinds of Finder plug-ins in seconds using Automator build in into Tiger and I can make it even more flexible.

ANONYMOUS NOT the same thing and no reason to diss this. So far i'm decidedly underwhelmed with automator. Besides, maybe *I* don't want to have to create it myself. Contextual menus are very slick.
