IMANIAC  After reviewing dozens of features I have decided to select this program as my primary image viewer. It could have a better support of HTML generation and allow different media to be viewed. However, it works very as an image viewer, slideshow. Well done!

iGreg: It seems that you are not happy with any software you use. Perhaps it is time for you to install Windows ;-)  (Version 2.27)

IGREG  Confusing features. I can not figure out what Viewit does with image files.

I "Add iPhoto Album" but were are the files from iPhoto? Where does Viewit store its image files? Is it making duplicates of my iPhoto files? If so, were is it putting them?

The logical place to look is the ViewIt folder in Pictures folder, yet no files are there.

So far Viewit is not meeting my need of a simple image viewer.  (Version 2.27)

IAMDORIAN  The best of its class, ViewtIt makes a number of image-processing and previewing tasks a lot easier. I don't use it exclusively for image dumps from my camera, so my needs are a bit different than some I've read.

There are only a couple of things I would personally like to see augmented in this great little App.

    1) I'd love to see us able to resize thumbnails. This has been one feature that has never been added, and should be. At least a size default option in prefs would be better than nothing at all, although perhaps an option to toggle the auto-resize border width (currently what it does) -or- size option, needs to be added. This would be a nice feature.

    2) An auto-play and loopable thumbnail-movie preview feature would really make time-lapse previewing far easier. Currently you can see a quick preview of all thumbnails by dragging in the main window view. A nice feature. However, for those of us creating time-lapse sequences from stills, the ability to see this playing as a movie would eliminate the need for going through the time consuming process of creating the equivalent in AE or some other motion graphics program.

    3) We could always use a few feature/option updates in the HTML gallery creation tool. It is very useful as it is now, but who'd turn down an occasional new feature, eh? Just a thought.

Overall, an indespensible digital arrow in my production quiver. Keep up the great work, and thanks for supporting Mac and Mac-Intel computing!  (Version 2.18)
