A. The installation process
The document that you are reading is located in a folder called "icExcel Installer folder". In the same folder you should have a single application file called "icExcel 2.1X Demo Installer"
1. Double-click the installer file "icExcel 2.1X Demo Installer" to install icExcel on your hard drive.
The icExcel splash screen appears, displaying the icExcel logo.
2. Click the Continue button on the icExcel splash screen.
The Welcome screen appears.
3. Click OK on the Welcome screen.
The Licensing Agreement screen appears.
4. Read the agreement carefully, and click the "Agree" button to continue.
The install screen appears.
5. Click on the "Install" button to install the program.
A screen called "Install software into folder" with four buttons "New", "Open", "Cancel" and "Choose" is displayed.
6. Highlight an item on the list (by single clicking on it) and click on the "Choose" button. icExcel 2.1 will be installed in the selected item.
For example if you have a hard disk called "HD" and you select it and then click on the "Choose" button the installer will create a folder called "icExcel 2.x" on your "HD" hard disk.
At this stage your installation is complete and you should have a folder called "icExcel 2.x" located where you have decided to install it.
