The Mac version of eFax Messenger 3.1.10 does not work on Intel based Macs, and so will not work on any current Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Even though the software will install, IT WILL NOT SEND FAXES.
The software is very basic compared to the current Windows version. There is no WSIWYG cover sheet option. You cannot drag and drop files to attachment section. Faxes cannot be previewed. Faxes sent to multiple numbers simultaneously (such as a fax copy to yourself) cannot be performed.
In short, I am very disappointed about eFax.com's approach to updating their software in a timely fashion. Really, it has been 6 YEARS since the LAST UPDATE.
The online websend version of eFax does not compare to the Windows desktop software counterpart. Not even close.
It is a shame that the Mac version is not updated, more of an embarrassment that the current download is not even functional on Intel Macs.
Come on eFax, get with the program! (no pun intended).
I CANNOT RECOMMEND EFAX AS A RELIABLE COMPANY OR SERVICE PROVIDER UNTIL THEY UPDATE THEIR SOFTWARE. Really, you pay $16.95/mo for it, shouldn't it work ?

So there's no need for any proprietary software which is a much better route if you ask me, since everyone uses email these days...
Admittedly they could do a better job of communicating this on their site.
Bad company!!!!!!!!!
