A really great app, full of features. If it doesn't do what you want you can probably make it. macupdate doesn't have latest update, its on developer's site.

It works fine on Lion.
The program is not abandoned. The author actually announced recently on his website that he will make this app his full time job. The version 3 will be a shareware though.

Mi is easily the most unix-like text editor I've found that still has a nice usable GUI that doesn't seem to be stuck on as an afterthought. I'm hooked on it. It's expandable, easy to use, packed with features, and free. Top marks.

mi is amazing... it's a lot better than TextEdit.. and allow you to clearly see your code... I use it for my Perl coding...

It could use a SQL color sheme though...

I love it. I haven't used BBedit since the intro of Mi. It does all I need.

sorry i needed to add something... but i didnt vote (therefore it doesn't change the rateings) this editor can edit

and applescript

also it is customizeable enough that you could make it edit any other language....

great program..... honestly I think it is much better than bbedit (the shareware bbedit) also it's so customizeable that it's amazing....
although their is no official english guide yet... it is still great.
