xbMovieSaver is a customizable screen saver displaying a quicktime movie.

What's New

Version 1.2.1 adds the following:

pre 10.1 compatibility : WARNING : This is theory, i can't test it 'cause i don't have any 10.1 OSX version 1.2
All the files are now handled as URL. This mean you can watch movies or animation directly from the net.
A playlist.
Files type are unfiltered. This mean you can add anything to the play list (mov, avi, flash, mp3).
The volume slider now works with non integer values

great program. works fantastic on my Mac running leopard. easily configured in seconds and does exactly what was expected. GOOD JOB!!!!!!

So far, huge disappointment. Instructions aren't terribly detailed or accurate, but they ARE a bit confusing; no prefs file to trash, and it either "Can't load movie" or it runs a grossly distorted QT logo during test.
I REALLY wish this worked.

seems to be working OKAY on with my 10.1.4-- makes System Prefs quit, but then it's in place as the saver. So far only tried basic QT file, but cool program.

well, it worked for me, but not on the first attempt. I had to quit system preferences a couple of times and only after that I was able to configure it. It does what it says.

man i wish this worked....

in the read me file it says if the configuration dialoge wont work to trash a certain pref's file....after install and trial runs there is no prefs file installed for me to be able to delete it and start itover again......wish i could say better things...
