Terminal Here Plugin has been discontinued
Email me when discounted:

Terminal Here Plugin provides a Contextual Menu Module for the Finder in OS X. This CMM provides a popup menu item when right clicking on a directory orfile with the option to 'Open Terminal Here'. When used on a file, it acts as if you used iton the directory the file is in.

When selected, Terminal.app will be launched if it is not already running, and a new window willbe opened and a cd command issued to switch to the appropriate directory.

This is primarily intended for those who do a lot of UNIX style work and really need theTerminal.app to do it.

I am the original developer. Apple removed the ability to create contextual menu plugins for Finder back in Snow Leopard. If you go to http://www.pyehouse.com/older-projects/ you can see my description of how to get the same functionality now.

Works in Tiger but coughs up warnings in the console.log.
Looks as if it isn't maintained anymore. Too bad, such a nice util!

It no longer opens 2 windows. The biggest problem now appears to be non-ASCII characters in the path.
