darkstat is a network traffic analyzer. It's basically a packet sniffer which runs as a background process on a cable/DSL router and gathers all sorts of useless but interesting statistics.

This listing is for an out of date, unofficial binary distribution for obsolete Jaguar and earlier systems.

The current version of the program is 3.07.

The official web site is here:

This can be easily installed via MacPorts.

an excellent wee packet sniffer for unix systems. It just keeps getting better and better. LOVE IT! If you want it to load automatically at startup on OS X, go here.. http://www.anycities.com/user/cor/darkstart.html
