This same thing can be done on a scheduled basis via rsync using cronjobs for scheduling and ssh for secure communication.

All running in the background with out launching an application on a scheduled basis.

Since this feature ability is built in to OSX's Unix OS this software is a waste of time.

Don't be such a tit. We aren't all UNIX programmer geek / snobs, get a life. Some folks will find this is just what they're looking for.

You don't need to be a programmer to use RSYNC. RSYNC is a simple one line command. If you can send an email you can use RSYNC. Your reply to this review was hilarious, by the way.

I was stoked to find this app, but have thus far been unsuccessful with it. I have plenty of success with other FTP clients, but so far, iCal FTP has just let me down. All servers I've tried it with either reject the login info with iCal FTP, or the FTP commands never succeed.

Using it with PHP iCal would be awesome if it actually worked.

Hopefully some of the bugs can be worked out - what a great idea.

I'm not sure if my calendar is too big, but I can't seem to get this application to work. I attempt to upload one of my calendars that is pretty large, and it never works. Stays stuck on 'Publishing Calendar' until it times out. Then when I attempt to upload one of my really small calendars it acts like it was successful, but I can't find the file anywhere on my server.

I'm on 10.3.1 using iCal 1.5.1. Help!

this combined with PHP iCalendar (http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/9224) is the best .Mac iCal publishing replacment I have seen yet. It is a nice little program, that makes uploading the iCal simple. The only problem I have with it, is that it doesn't disconnect from my FTP server when it's done.. it just keeps churning, until i hit Cancel. But everything gets uploaded fine.

Great job!

Not bad, needs an automated upload option.

Great, functions as stated ... but everytime I request to "quit" the program, it reports that the application has "unexpectedly" quit.
