USB Monitor helps Mac OS X recognize when new USB devices are plugged into your Mac. Once started USB Monitor pops up a status window showing the currently connected devices. No icon is added to the dock as this program is intended to run in the background and not be interacted with by the user.

Indeed a good app. Have had it for quite a few years now.

Just upgraded to Leopard and the interface pop-ups are looking a little frayed. Hopefully an upgrade might come along soon.

This software is realy good. It means I don't have to run the application 'System Profiler'just to see what I have just plugged into my ibook. 9 out of 10.
