NmapFE is a Cocoa frontend for the popular Nmap port-scanning software written in Objective-C.
It can also be useful as a "teaching tool" since it shows the user how to construct a complex Nmap command line based on their choices, and provides background information (via tooltips) on what the different choices mean.

Useful tool, but in desperate need of an update to a Universal Binary.

Still needs a lot of works. Randomly crashes in OSX 10.3.5 :(

This won't run at all on 10.3.6

Seems to run OK on M8705LL/A desktop G4/800 under OS 10.4.2. Sweeping ports 0-65535, correctly identified my one known open port (22) on remote home LAN.
Did it incorrectly report ports as being closed that were actually open? I don't know. Hopefully not...

Works exactly as it should, nice clean easy to navigate interface. Perfect!

Extremely useful intrusion testing tool. It would be nice if the output listed(or had an option to list) open ports first and then filtered ones.

Extremely well-designed frontend to Nmap -unquestionabe _the_ best port scanner/sniffer with a very effective OS fingerprinting option and plenty of other features.
The tooltips make this application so easy to use that really anyone can use Nmap now.
Again: Very well done!

Extremely nice. I can't think of any way to make it better.

Very nice. Nmap is a great program and this Cocoa front end is much nicer than either the command line or the X11 front end.
