for some reason it attempts to make an outgoing conection. Seems like an interesting app.

However I just want an app which provides me with info on two hD's in the menu bar so it is not what I am looking for.

Nice documentation and a very clean prodcut.

not sure why it connects at start though - nothting about that in the doc's.
